Senior Front End Developer for Mercedes pay

On behalf of Mercedes pay, Ciklum is looking for Senior Front End Developer to join Kyiv team on full-time basis.

About Client:

Mercedes Pay S.A. (mercedes-pay.com) is a young, innovative start-up in the field of mobile/online payment. Our goal is to establish the new standard for payment processes. 'Mercedes pay' is the electronic payment system for services provided by the Daimler Group. It is a fundamental component of Daimler's mobility and digitalization strategy. As a part of the Daimler group, we are ambitious to make the products and services that Daimler offers even more appealing with the new payment system.

Responsibilities:

• Take part in the architecture definition
• Perform technical analysis and suggest improvements
• Develop new features and make changes to existing code
• Proactively participate in tasks estimation
• Working with team members and delivery team to explain solutions, identify roadblocks and communicating status of tasks
• Develop standard practices, drive collaboration and improvement initiatives
• Identify root causes of the bugs, suggest refactoring activities to reduce technical debt and be in time with project's commitments

Requirements:

• 4 + years of industry experience in developing front-end GUIs
• Expert HTML/CSS/JavaScript skills across all modern browsers
• Experience with modern web development using Typescript, ES6, Angular2+.
• Experience with Asynchronous coding techniques in Angular2+: Observable/RxJS (6+)
• Understanding of REST-full web services
• Excellent browser debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Develop new and modify existing functionality to fulfill feature requirements
• Be a team player in a scrum software development environment focused on collaboration and continuous integration
• GIT, Git Flow
• Gulp, Webpack
• English skills at level enough for reading of technical documentation

Desirable:

• Jira
• Experience in writing of unit and e2e tests;
• JS testing frameworks (protractor, karma, jasmine)
• CSS preprocessor (SCSS)
• Docker

Personal skills:

• Comfortable researching and adopting new web technologies
• Proactive person
