Senior Python Developer

In Kyiv we are creating team from 4 people: Scrum Master, Middle/Senior Android Developer, Senior Python Developer and QA Engineer.

Development methodology: Scrum.

Interviewing:

1-st stage: interview with the recruiter (around 40 minutes);

2-nd stage: interview with a client (around 1 hour).

Skills required:

• At least 4+ years of professional Python software development experience;
• To be familiar with Blockchain, the app relies on Blockchain concepts to guarantee secure content;
• Experience with PostgreSQL, all relational tables are in a PostgreSQL DB;
• Experience with NoSQL databases (ElasticSearch); 
• Nice to have experience with AWS, Docker;
• Good understanding of code versioning tools (GIT);
• Experience in writing unit tests;
• Experience in Agile software development;
• Experience in debveloping APIs to support Custoimer facing applicatiosns (preferably Mobile apps);
• You can handle the typical developer tools and uses the latest technologies;
• Able to work independently and in a team, take ownership of work;
• Good written and spoken communications in English;
• Flexible and adaptable to work with a variety of technology and business challenges.

Responsibilities include:

• Product development in accordance with the requirements;
• Development of features for our product; 
• Communication with 3rd party vendors (Approov, Pusher, etc.);
• Participation in discussions and decision-making during the product development process;
• Work closely with the rest of the team;
• Be capable of researching and suggesting alternative solutions if necessary
• Work closely with the Mobile App developers to produce the APIs required to support the Apps.

About Client

Our client was founded in the UK in 2015. They started with a desire to make things right - to make the internet a more authentic ecosystem. A fair and level playing field for all parties, where each participant can just concentrate on what they are good at. Free from false information and the worry about data trawling and abuse. Their goal is to build ethical technology and business solutions.

Their project it is an app which will assist in the fight against fake news. It taps into user cameras that allow them to record and upload un-editable blockchain videos. App is primarily for video recordings, but it can also be used for audio recordings or multiple photographs captured with your mobile device. The strength of media recorded within the app is that it is encrypted on the device, so it cannot be hacked or changed.
