Senior / Lead DevOps Engineer (GCP)

Zoral Labs, a leading provider of research and development to the software industry, is looking for an experienced Senior / LeadDevOps Engineer to join its development center in Kyiv.

Responsibilities:

· Development and maintenance of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for company core products and customer solutions;

· Deployment, monitoring and support of complex public cloud environments (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform), including databases, web and application servers, monitoring and management tools;

· Codification of infrastructure components and operational practices (Infrastructure-as-Code, IaC);

· Documentation and QA knowledge base development;

· Design and implementation of automated tools for systems management, tasks automation;

· Continuous monitoring for latest developments in the field of DevOps approaches and technologies as well as public cloud vendors, and utilization of leading technologies and methods in the operational stack;

· Cost/benefit analysis for operations spending and initiatives;

· Close cooperation with company core products and customer solutions development teams to deliver high performance, high scalability resilient software services and solutions;

· Close cooperation with customer IT support or DevOps teams to ensure normal operation of their solutions and knowledge transfer from Zoral DevOps to customer IT support.

Essential Qualifications:

· Bachelor degree in the field of computer science or related;

· 3+ years of Linux infrastructure experience: administration and troubleshooting;

· Technical knowledge of Windows and Linux Networking (network interfaces, routing, firewalls, bridges, etc);

· Solid knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and/or Amazon Web Services;

· Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools: Jenkins, TeamCity or Amazon CodeDeploy;

· Source control: GIT;

· Container technologies: Docker;

· Experience with cloud deployment system: TerraForm or AWS CloudFormation;

· Experience with configuration management systems: Ansible, Chef or Puppet, Salt;

· Experience with data processing technologies: Spark / DataFlow, BigQuery;

· Python and Bash scripting for system administration.

Desired Qualifications:

· Experience using monitoring systems and log analysis (Logstash, Kibana, ElasticSearch or other stack);

· Experience with centralized logging/monitoring/security/A&A solutions;

· Kubernetes 1.10+ including managed AWS EKS, GCP, Azure and on-premises.
