MicroBilt Ukraine, a local subsidiary of a well-established US company (http://www.microbilt.com), is looking for a self-driven Data Analyst to join our Analytics team and collaborate with our Development, Product, and Sales teams. MicroBilt is a pioneer in the alternative credit data space, and a leading provider of payment and bank verification solutions. Salary, after taxes: $800-1000, based on experience. By joining our team, you will be working directly for a US company. This means stability, lawfulness and professional growth. Unlike many other companies, we hire people for a long term, not just for one project. Last-year students and recent graduates will be considered.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analyze historic credit performance of portfolios and develop visual and written reports that summarize these results, identify trends, explain variances, and provide recommendations for minimizing risk.
• Data Mining, Model development, Statistical research in assessing credit risks utilizing multiple data sources to manage risks and identify optimal strategies to maximize profitability.
• Developing of new methods for automatization and expanding regular reporting tasks as well as developing and maintaining new methods to allow for more efficient ad-hoc reporting.
• Ability to explain complex analytical results to both a technical and non-technical audience.

Skills and Specifications:

• Experience with SQL.
• Strong statistical and analytical skills.
• Experience extracting, manipulating, and analyzing large datasets is a plus.
• Understanding of advanced statistical techniques used in predictive modeling.
• Financial services experience in an analytical capacity, knowledge of credit lifecycle preferred.
• Model development software: SAS/STAT/Python/Statistica/R (Pandas, SciPy, NumPy) is preferred.
• Proven experience with statistical modeling approaches (e.g., logistic regression, decision trees, K-NN) and awareness of other machine learning techniques.
• English level — intermediate and up
