Intern Legal Counsel

Room 8 Studio is a fast-paced solutions provider for game industry leaders from all over the world, no matter the genre or platform is. We are looking for an Intern Legal Counsel in our Legal Department to bring new ideas and professional experience and work on cool projects together.

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar position 1+ years will be an additional advantage (in the legal department);

• Experienced user: Microsoft Office, Liga;

• Ability to make independent decisions and learn quickly;

• Leadership and organization skills;

• Be result-oriented, attentive to details and stress tolerance;

• Knowledge of English (Upper-Intermediate).

Responsibilities:

• Adapting company contract templates to the requirements of clients and vendors (including but not limited to transferring intellectual property rights, confidentiality agreements, etc.);

• Preparing and drafting corporate documents templates and their approval with the Head of Legal;

• Providing legal advice and support within the legal department and cross-functionally to other company departments;

• Monitoring for the availability of all necessary documents for the currency control on the received payments;

• Identifying and researching various legal issues and assessing their impact on business;

• Regular monitoring of changes in the current legislation (including risks description and suggestions providing for their mitigation);

• Assisting in any other legal or administrative matters as and when requested.
