Purpose of the role

The Investment Project Analyst responsibilities include providing insights into economic trends and evaluating investment potential. This requires an understanding of financial information, such as financial statements, economic and sector data in order to provide comprehensive analysis on future and existing growth opportunities.

Effectively contributing to the achievement of the Oximio vision "to enhance and develop our global services, aiming to improve our status as a major provider of clinical trials logistic services worldwide, while meticulously maintaining the highest operational standards and a customer-oriented approach."

Responsibilities:

• Formulate and submit clear and concise analysis of the effectiveness of financial investments to the Investment Project Managers.
• Examine and interpret data from different sources and understand the impact this will have for investment decisions.
• Conduct due diligence on potential investments through reading financial documentation and researching market data.
• Analyse financial information relating to companies such as entering new markets and new locations and provide recommendations on benefits, risks and level of opportunity.
• Applying analyst knowledge on Mergers and Acquisitions, green field investments or business partnership possibilities along geographical expansion plans.
• Maintain knowledge on market developments, new investment products and all other areas that can affect the markets i.e. movement in economies of relevant countries.
• Effectively carry out financial modelling and projection on all potential investment.
• Draft and write research reports for the Oximio summarising research, exploring investment potential, position ideas and articulate risk or payoff of each recommendation.
• Ensure any associated documentation is collated as part of any investment project analysis and filed according to the agreed standards and made available to the relevant stakeholder.
• Accountable for contributing to offering bespoke and expert solutions / advice on a variety of investment projects, across various areas such as market economies, current financial news and financial markets.
• Perform analysis on the risks involved in each investment and make recommendations to the Investment Project Manager to manage those risks to minimise impact on projects whilst ensuring compliance within to the Oximio Quality policy and standards.
• Contribute to reporting on periodic metrics reports that highlight trends and assess performance against project KPI’s.
• Ensure that all information is accurately recorded and kept up to date.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business management, statistics, financial, mathematics, accounting or economics
• Knowledge and experience in global, multi-site, multi-cultural organisation (desirable)
• Previous experience of analysing and formulating sound financial advice on investment opportunities
• Have experience of the full project lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering through to implementation and ongoing support
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word applications (must)
• Exceptionally organised and able schedule and drive work across multiple projects
• Strong numeracy and cost management skills
• Upper-intermediate English level (written and verbal)
• Engage and builds credibility with internally influential individuals
• Exceptional research and analytical skills, attention to details
