Manual QA Engineer
From Ukraine - remote
Your transformation challenge …
- monitoring every phase of the software development process so as to ensure design quality, performing manual testing on various test levels: feature, integration, system (E2E)
- executing various test types: functional (acceptance, regression, smoke, sanity), non-functional (basic performance, usability, basic security etc.)
- making sure that the software adheres to the clients expectations and to the standards set by the company, monitoring production environment constantly
- communicating closely with all members of the development team in order to find appropriate and timely solutions
- analyze results of testing, create bug reports, track defects to closure
- creating and maintaining test documentation: test cases, check lists
You are ready, if you have …
- at least 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance and/or software testing
- good knowledge of testing principles, methods and test design techniques, deep understanding of SDLC and testing processes, test documentation development principles and methods
- understanding of SQL and hands-on experience using one of the RDBMS
- experience with XML, JSON, Web Services/REST, SQL (SELECT, UPDATE, JOINS), network protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SMTP)
- have experience using API testing tool (e.g. Postman) and issue-tracking tool (e.g. JIRA)
- basic Linux commands will be a plus
- intermediate or fluent level of English and are enjoying working in an international company
