Head of Customer Technology - Technical Support

Head of Customer Technology - Technical Support is the professional and disciplinary leader of European Customer Technology - Technical Support teams, with responsibility for about 30+ employees in Transporeon.

Your transformation challenge ...

• Responsibility for the achievement of company strategy relevant for the department, department objectives, efficiency gains, agreed KPIs and lived company values.
• Management of available budget for your headcount including training budget, approving expenses. 
• Taking care of your employees, monitoring of their workload, hiring, professional and personal development, disciplinary measures, succession planning, continues support of your Team Leaders. 
• The Head of Customer Technology is a crucial stakeholder in processes related to Product Management, Marketing, Product Marketing, Customer Services, Professional Services, Sales, Legal, Accounting, etc.
• Representing Customer Technology in customer meetings occasioned by new deals, retrospective calls, escalations, etc. 
• Key point of the crisis management communication matrix, responsible for triggering internally remediative actions and communication actions before, during, and after a platform event, including in on-call duty. 
• Participate in (ISO 27001) certification and security audits.

You are ready, if you ...

• Strive for leadership position to bring positive impact, demonstrate company values, support the achievement of company goals and serve your team.
• Bring experience of at least 3 years on similar position reporting into Head/Director level externally or on a Team Leader position inside Transporeon/Trimble.
• Come from a previous professional career in Customer Care, Software Development, Professional Services, Technical Support, Quality Assurance, logistic services, dispatching, subcontracting, GPS providers, etc.
• Have sufficient technical background for the role, understanding of programming languages (especially Java), technical solutions like XML, PostgreSQL and networks (HTTPS, SFTP, Firewall,…), application architecture, performance and information security.
• Are a great communicator, can motivate and inspire, you are a coach and mentor.
• Possess working hands on mentality, high team spirit and ability to network within the company.
