Sales Representative – Move One  Freight Forwarding  / Moving Company

As a Sales Representative at our logistics company, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by acquiring new clients and maintaining strong relationships with existing ones. This position requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with a deep understanding of logistics services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong sales mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Client Acquisition:

  • Identify and target potential clients in the logistics industry.
  • Conduct market research to understand client needs and preferences.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new business.

2. Sales Presentations:

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of our logistics services.
  • Customize presentations to address the unique needs of each client.

3. Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure client satisfaction.

4. Quota Achievement:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas.
  • Monitor sales metrics and analyze performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans as needed.

5. Market Intelligence:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Provide regular updates to the management team on market developments.

6. Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery to clients.

7. Documentation:

  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and other documentation as required.
  • Maintain organized records of sales activities and customer interactions.

8. Continuous Learning:

  • Stay updated on the company's logistics services and offerings.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
