Job Description 

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the company’s foreign exchange trading systems and operations.

  • Creating and managing all aspects of Risk Management and Loss management and protecting the capital.

  • Active trading on financial markets 

  • Hiring Staff to build and optimise the trading systems. (Including programming and data science).

  • Day to Day management and responsibility of all open FX positions 

  • Oversee continuous development of all existing trading systems.

  • Find (or build), test and implement new trading systems. 

  • Responsible for the profit of the funds invested. 

  • Detailed reporting of Daily, Weekly and Monthly statistic of the systems/accounts and performance of the business 

  • Reporting on optimisations and changes made to the systems and provide the data to show the results

  • Allocate funds across accounts and strategies based on data of returns of each account/strategy

  • Ability to visualise and implement required systems and processes to make the operations of the trading business easier to run / report / visualise

  • Monitoring changes in the market, economics and major financial announcements 

  • Deciding on Broker allocation, negotiating rates and checking their quotes and offers compared to the other brokers

• Possess an ability to turn data into strategy and strategy into trading

• Some level of technical knowledge i.e. ability to understand what needs to be tested or programmed and explain it to a programmer or data scientist

• Previous management experience within a small team and demonstrated ability to create and maintain a good culture 

• Previous experience in trading (can be stocks, crypto or ideally currencies) can be for employment or for their personal account

• Understanding of trading strategies and technical analysis

• Knowledge of FX trading systems and process (an advantage) e.g. MetaTrader 4

• Knowledge of algorithmic trading systems and technical analysis (an advantage)
