Basic Job Description

As the Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building FMA (Facility Management Application) end-to-end product vision. This includes everything from working with leadership to hone the overall product vision, going through all the stages of SDLC process, and on to the final production deployment. This might include writing code or evolving product database, mentoring members of the development team, trouble-shooting coding challenges; 

The Software Engineer will report to the Lead of Software Engineering and Software Operations Manager.

Note: Technical interview will be conducted in English, Ukrainian and Russian.

Essential Roles and Functions

1. Take the architecture of the software to the next level
2. Participate & improve development processes
3. Add your technical voice to help hone the overall FTD product vision
4. Execute a plan that brings that vision into reality
5. Contribute to the success of software development team
6. Communicate regularly and openly to the whole FTD team, about progress and challenges during the development process
7. Ensure that technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs (incl., InfoSec, AI integration, etc.).
8. Work closely with the Lead of Software Engineering, Product manager, the Customer Success Management, and Operations Manager to define and deliver new product features and capabilities.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills with the ability to present a technological vision confidently.

• Solid experience with agile development, the following experiences as a user are a must: git, Jira, CI/CD process and software like Teamcity, Bamboo, Jenkins, and github/bb pipelines. Strong bonus points if the candidate participated in setting up or introducing the mentioned tools to an established process. 
• Other technologies considered as a strong bonus: Docker, Kubernetes, exposure to Cloud.
• Middle or Senior level software development experience (3-5+ years) with PHP, vanilla JS, CSS/HTML, SQL is a must. Python, modern browser UI frameworks are considered as a strong plus.
• Good candidate will possess solid knowledge of algorithms/time complexity, common data structures, Linux, and networking.
• Proven experience with end-to-end product design and build, executing a product vision all the way from concept to final production deployment.
• Experience dealing with third party APIs and external services
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good ego management, conflict resolution, and emotional intelligence.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• A security-centric approach to product design.
• Upper intermediate in English and understands or speaks both of Ukrainian and Russian.

B.S. in Computer Science or related field.

Experience working in an early-stage successful tech start-up preferred.
