Commercial Glazing Bids Estimator/Кошторисник

The Commercial Glazing Bids Estimator is responsible for preparing and presenting detailed bids and estimates for commercial glazing projects. This role requires a deep understanding of glazing products and installation processes, including windows, doors, storefronts, and mirrors. The ideal candidate will collaborate with sales, design, and installation teams to ensure accurate and competitive pricing while meeting client specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bid Preparation: Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment needed for commercial glazing projects.
• Project Analysis: Evaluate potential projects for feasibility and profitability by conducting site visits, if necessary, and consulting with architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Liaise with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best pricing and delivery schedules for materials and ensure that the quality meets or exceeds the project specifications.
• Customer Service: Work directly with clients to understand their needs, provide technical advice, and adjust estimates based on client feedback or changes in project scope.
• Technical Support: Offer technical support and advice to the sales team, helping to ensure that proposals are both competitive and achievable.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed proposal documents, including breakdowns of costs and project timelines.
• Compliance: Ensure all bids and estimates comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, new materials, and technologies that can impact costs or offer new opportunities for the business.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in the glazing or construction industry.
• Proven experience as an estimator in commercial glazing, construction, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of commercial glazing products, materials, and installation processes.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
