Head of Communications (Diia.City United)

We are seeking an experienced Head of Communications who will lead the development and execution of effective communication strategies, including external and internal communications. This role demands substantial hands-on engagement with day-to-day tasks right from the start.

Responsibilities:

• Developing, driving, and executing communications plans and strategies to support the organization's mission and goals, ensuring that our messaging is consistent, impactful, and resonates with our target audience;

• Managing day-to-day execution of public relations, including developing and distributing press releases, pitching stories to the media, and managing media inquiries;

• Crafting compelling messaging and storytelling to engage stakeholders and build brand awareness;

• Managing the organization's social media presence, including creating and scheduling content, monitoring and responding to comments and questions, and analyzing metrics;

• Participate in the preparation and oversee the execution of various events, ensuring seamless coordination and implementation;

• Hiring, leading, and managing the team.

Requirements: 

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a communications or public relations role, preferably in the tech/business sector;

• Demonstrated experience leading a communications team or managing external vendors;

• Experience developing and implementing strategic communications plans;

• A strong understanding of traditional and digital media, including social media platforms;

• Adept at building relationships internally and externally;

• Ability to deliver high-quality work while managing multiple projects;

• Excellent writing, editing, research, investigative, and communication skills;

• Data-driven approach to decision-making and a track record of leveraging data to inform communication strategies;

• «Getting things done» approach and readiness to provide contacts for references;

• English proficiency is a must (B2 and higher).
