Data Analyst

Virtuace on behalf of our client - American insurance company is looking for Data Analyst  (working schedule from 3 pm till 11pm Kiev time) to join our team.

Client is a global specialty provider of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance that has more than $110 billion USD in total assets along with $17 billion USD in net assets.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and report performance of research algorithms deployed to production on daily basis
• Interact with users, product and engineering team
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Perform ad hoc analytics requests
• Provide result interpretations
• Provision of automated reporting
• Analysis of data to identify the causes of deviations in business metrics
• Prepare testing\deployment documents and data quality requirements 

Required skills:

• 1+ years of experience as BI/Data Analyst
• Familiarity with data storage and ETL pipelines
• Knowledge of SQL-Good level of English-Deep analytical skills
• Knowledge of Excel at a high level (formulas (including array formulas), tables, pivot tables, connection to external sources)
• Experience writing SQL queries
• Analytical thinking, ability to find patterns in studied data sets, reasons for the deviations of indicators that describe business processes, briefly and accurately focus on the main causes of deviations
• Ability to bring data of various types into a single system
