HEKS/EPER is looking STOREKEEPER . Base in Mykolaiv.
The STOREKEEPER will be part of the base logistics team. The purpose of the position is to oversee all logistical activities related to receiving, storing, moving and discharging material from HEKS and outsourced warehouses.
Tasks and responsibilities
Warehouse management:
handling of stock as per HEKS/EPER guidelines on stock management and warehousing guidelines, including quality control
appropriate storing layout and organisation of the items on stock, their identification and safe storing
completeness, correctness and accurate links between actual material in stock and documentation
maintaining warehouse in line with health & safety and according to standards
preparing, processing and proper archiving of stock documentation as per PIN guidelines on stock management
daily planning of warehouse activities (unloading/loading/storing) as per information from logistics/projects
being part of inventory commission
following internal SOPs on warehouse management, if applicable
Monitoring of loading and unloading of material and completeness check
Managing daily workers and their workload
Storekeeping:
Responsibility for the warehouse key
Receipt and dispatch of goods according to stock requests
Handling and stacking
Warehouse maintenance and cleaning
Inspection of stocks
Pest control and waste disposal
Documentation and record-keeping
Inventory & Commodity Tracking
Mobilizing loaders
Overseeing guards and loaders
Reporting any security/safety issues to warehouse manager
In some cases, storekeeper can also perform a role of Warehouse Manager or warehouse data manager.
Warehouse data management:
Processing of stock management documents
Creation of stock management documents such as GRN, GDN, inventory checks, stock cards etc.
Archiving of documentation
Driving
driving HEKS/EPER vehicles according to driving rules,
keeping vehicles clean;
performing daily and weekly checks on vehicles;
logbooks and service books being filled in properly and if not, drivers must receive feedback and training to fulfil this task correctly;
being on time;
driving fuel-efficiently;
driving accident-free.
performing other duties as assigned.
Job requirements:
Knowledge:
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position
Strong IT knowledge (hardware and software, Microsoft Office, Internet)
Previous experience with an NGO is appreciated
Previous experience in emergency response is appreciated
Skills:
Required qualities: organized, sense of human relations, diplomacy, communication skills
Desirable: proactive, autonomous, rigorous, analytical, willingness and motivation to work in an international and intercultural context
Languages:
Fluent in Ukrainian and Russian (written and spoken)
Knowledge of English is appreciated
