Field Team Lead

HEKS/EPER is looking for the Field Team Lead. Base in Zaporizhzhia. 

In collaboration with the area manager, the Field Team Lead analyze the context of the project area and suggest areas of intervention in line with Heks-Eper strategies.Organize and manage the implementation of activities in accordance with Heks-Eper activities and strategies.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Programme design and delivery: In collaboration with the area manager, He/She proposes and organizes the delivery of HEKS emergency programming in the area of operation.

• Safety & context: He/She assists with safety management and applying safety standards, monitoring the context, and reporting daily to the country office. He/She provides a short written briefing on security and humanitarian needs each morning. In case of a critical situation, he/she immediately communicates necessary information to the Area manager and/orSecurity officer.

• Team development: In collaboration with the area manager , He/She supports the development of a field team to operate in emergency response areas through multi-sector responses.

• Supplies: In collaboration with the area manager and the logistics deparment, He/She proposes a distribution plan to her direct line manager and the support of logistics department

• Procedures: In collaboration with the area manager He/She guarantees that the HEKS procedures and programme tools established during the mission are respected.

• Functioning of the bases: In collaboration with the area manager He/She supports the basic functioning of the field base.. 

• Coordination:  Participate on a biweekly basis at the Coordination Cluster Meeting and prepare minutes with the Area Manager.

Specific objectives and linked activities

• Participate in the sharing of information within the team.
• With the field team, share a Weekly report (Weekly sitrep programme) to the Area Manager and the Field Coordinator with the details of the acitivities, challenges, need of support
• Propose response modalities for program development/expansion.
• In collaboration with the area manager, coordinate with partners and local authorities to ensure smooth running operations
• In collaboration with the area manager, ensure the functioning of monitoring & evaluation systems and beneficiary counting

Languages:

• Fluent Ukrainian and English (written and spoken)
