Senior Test Automation Engineer (Java)

About the client

Our client is a discount stock broker. We're developing reliable & easy-to-use trading platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements;
• Create testing documentation;
• Supporting and improving a test automation platform from scratch.

Requirements

• 3+ years in automated testing;
• Solid working knowledge of UNIX and SQL for analysis and data verification in back-end tables;
• Successful experience testing commercial Java applications;
• Experience troubleshooting test environment issues;
• Creating Test Plans (requirements) based on Design/Interface specifications;
• Being able to Automate production issues (like JIRA tickets created) on an ongoing basis is required;
• Automating the 'regression' test suite, so these can be run continuously as Production Builds are deployed;
• JUnit or UC4 frameworks knowledge (or ability to pick up these on the job);
• Understanding of web technologies;
• Strong intermediate English level for daily communication with customer.

Will be a plus

• Experience in AWS;
• Building frameworks for deploying/executing Automated Tests;
• Experience in scripting languages.
