Overall purpose of the role:

Psychologist’s primary role is to function as the general point of contact for all matters pertinent to Project HOPE’s interventions in Ukraine assigned regions related to evaluating, diagnosing, and treating people for mental, emotional, behavioral, educational, and developmental disorders.  

Responsibilities: 

• Support the project team in the development and implementation of psychosocial support activities. 
• Implementing the Sexual Gender Based Violence (SGBV) protocol, identifying possible victims of SGBV and referring them to available services.  
• Assisting and training staff members and resourceful people whenever necessary in order to enhance the scope of MH activities.  
• Ensuring that all patient information is kept confidential.  
• Mapping existing national and humanitarian mental health and psychosocial support services that are accessible to vulnerable population. Develop and maintain an efficient mental health and social service referral system in coordination with other government and/or partner agencies. 
• Identification and case management of children and adults in need of mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS). 
• Performing psychological assessments, testing, and evaluation and Provide diagnosis. 
• Making referrals to other support services for beneficiaries, in line with the specific needs identified and the range of services available. 
• Ensuring the implementation and monitoring of all activities planned by the project within the targeted areas (active targeting, community sensitization, etc.) and in general of the organization’s activities in the project implementation areas. 
• Filling in the working tools for identification and follow-up: surveys and follow-up sheets etc; 
• Ensuring detailed information sharing about the evolution of the activities under his/her responsibility whenever requested. 
• Writing periodical activity reports. 
• Reporting, documenting and following up on problematic cases on a case-by-case basis in collaboration with the project team members. 
• Promoting knowledge of child rights, child protection and gender issues among beneficiaries and other stakeholders. 

Education:

• Psychosocial studies; candidate with degrees in Psychology/Psychotherapy/ Medical Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience

Languages:

• Fluency in written and spoken English. Fluency in local spoken languages.

Загальна мета посади: Головна роль психолога - це бути контактною точкою для всіх питань, пов'язаних з інтервенціями Project HOPE в регіонах України щодо оцінки, діагностики та лікування людей з розладами психіки, емоційними, поведінковими, освітніми та розвитковими порушеннями.

Обов'язки:

1. Підтримка команди проекту у розробці та впровадженні психосоціальних заходів.
2. Виконання протоколу з питань статевого та гендерного насильства (SGBV), виявлення можливих жертв SGBV та направлення їх на доступні служби.
3. Допомога та навчання персоналу та ресурсних осіб для розширення обсягу діяльностей з психічного здоров'я (MH).
4. Забезпечення конфіденційності усієї інформації про пацієнтів.
5. Створення картографії існуючих національних та гуманітарних служб з ментального здоров'я та психосоціальної підтримки, доступних для вразливого населення. Розробка та підтримка ефективної системи направлення на ментальну службу та соціальне обслуговування в співробітництві з іншими урядовими та/або партнерськими організаціями.
6. Виявлення та керування випадками дітей та дорослих, які потребують психічної допомоги та психосоціальної підтримки (MHPSS).
7. Проведення психологічних оцінок, тестувань та експертизи, надання діагнозу.
8. Направлення бенефіціарів до інших служб підтримки відповідно до виявлених потреб та доступного спектру послуг.
9. Забезпечення впровадження та моніторингу всіх запланованих дій проекту в цільових областях (активне визначення, спільна інформування спільноти тощо).
10. Заповнення робочих інструментів для визначення та слідкування: опитування та аркуші слідкування тощо.
11. Детальний обмін інформацією про розвиток дій, за якими відповідає, за запитом.
12. Підготовка періодичних звітів про діяльність.
13. Звітність, документування та вирішення проблемних випадків на індивідуальній основі у співпраці з членами команди проекту.
14. Поширення знань про права дитини, захист дітей та гендерні питання серед бенефіціарів та інших зацікавлених сторін.

Освіта:

Диплом у галузі психосоціальних досліджень; перевага надається кандидатам із ступенями у психології, психотерапії, медичної психології або клінічної психології. Досвід роботи 3-5 років. 

Мови: письмове і усне володіння англійською мовою на середньому рівні та вище. Вільне володіння українською.
