Job Purpose:
Provide support to the Program by assisting the MHPSS Specialist / Officer (Odesa) in the administrative part of coordination tasks, ensuring a smooth relation with local counterparts, contributing to the context analysis and follow-up, providing translations and interpreting in order to facilitate coordination tasks.
Key Activities and responsibilities:
- Follow up of reporting from all protection related activities, supervising data collection and interpretation in the assigned oblast(s);
- Supporting the supervision of developing key tools and documents in line with PH guidelines and standards
- Follow up and support when needed the communication with counterparts
- Support and keep active communication with MHPPS Officers, specifically in Kyiv
Educational Background
- Psychosocial studies; candidate with degrees in Psychology/Psychotherapy/ Clinical Psychology preferred, or related. .
Experience
- Understanding of mental health and protection sector program design in humanitarian environments.
- Community experience working with vulnerable populations on psychosocial interventions.
- Candidates with degrees in psychology: Experience in diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders in health care facilities highly preferred.
- Experience in social services departments (NGOs, Governmental organizations)
Technical Skills
- Fluency in Ukrainian/Russian and English is required.
