Product Manager is responsible for Product Marketing (of related products), new products launches, and managing all the related processes
Responcibilities:
Market research & analysis
- Analysis of regular (weekly, monthly) GFK report
- Analysis of information from customers, MI, independent agencies of competitors activities, market changes and trends, competitor products benchmarking.
- Samsung products forecasts (market volume, market share, sales capabilities)
- Participation in SCM process through market volume & Samsung share forecasts
Portfolio planning, new products launch & Marcom cooperation
- Product portfolio optimization
- Over-viewing the whole Samsung product lines, choosing the models for national launch, negotiating models launch with HQ
- Guidance of launching campaigns planning, delivery of product value to the customers through Marketing Communication cooperation
- Certification of the products: requesting from Certification Manager obtaining all needed certificates for new products / specifications / new factory production, collection & providing all needed documents, full support of certification process
- Testing Samples handling: pre test sample check and logistic for magazine test/review, exhibition and other events that initiated by press media and business partners
- Being an expert on Partners meeting & negotiations, product demonstrations, PR events participation
Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant experience (preferably on position of Product Manager, Product Analyst, Category Manager, Senior Market Analyst)
- Preferred industries: Consumer Electronics, FMCG, Retail
- University Degree in Economics, Marketing, Finance
- Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills
- Advanced user of MS Excel and Power Point
- Fluent English, Ukrainian and Russian
