DB Best is looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Developer with broad and deep knowledge of Data Warehouse applications to join our team of world-class experts. STRIKING PROJECT FOR OUR DW DEVELOPER

The project is a desktop application for automated databases migration developed for one of the biggest world's names. The solution is on the market for more than 3 years by now, and our current team includes more than 70 talented members located worldwide. Microsoft's MCMs and MVPs - the highest level of knowledge available are also part of the team.

The main purpose of the solution is to automate database migration and make it smooth for users. Since most of the business owners hesitate whether to do such a transfer from outdated and hard to manage servers, our product will be a great help in the process of modernization.

LATEST TECHNOLOGIES APPLIED WITHIN THE PROJECT

The technologies we apply in respect of the solution can be roughly divided into two categories:

• databases. The product supports almost every DB platform available, including Amazon Aurora, Amazon Redshift, Cassandra, DynamoDB, Greenplum, IBM Db2 LUW, MariaDB, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Netezza, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Teradata, Vertica;
• algorithms. For the backend, we apply the following stack: Java, REST API, Spring Framework. And React + Java FX is what we use for the front part.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

What we expect from you on the position of a Data Warehouse Developer

• Proficiency in data warehouse architecture and design
• AWS Experience (Redshift, RDS, S3, Glue, etc.) - design and deployment skills
• Knowledge of Teradata, Vertica, Netezza, Greenplum data warehouse
• Familiarity with and ability to apply Oracle or SQL Server data warehouse technologies
• Experience in product development and database applications
• Proficiency in various business intelligence and advanced analytics components (DW, ETL, ODS, DataMarts, Reporting, Dashboards, Analytics)
• Experience with Cassandra, DynamoDB and other NoSQL databases
• Spoken and written English of an Upper-Intermediate level

• Specifications development for database and data warehouse related applications
• Server code development for data warehouse functionality extension
• Design and deployment of a database for functional products testing
