The Performance Analyst will support our Product and Marketing Teams by bringing reporting, analysis, and data-driven insight to grow our business and help our marketing team develop an evidence-based, full-funnel marketing strategy. Your efforts will help Namecheap drive new customer acquisition, retention, and ROI, and you will be the glue that helps bring all our marketing efforts together.
Duties and responsibilities
Reporting & Dashboards
Build visual Dashboards with data visualization tools for internal stakeholders
Regular and ad-hoc reporting;
Present to senior stakeholders of the business;
Collaborate with product, marketing, and business intelligence teams to integrate analytics into company reporting and ad-hoc analysis
Manage projects that identify new areas of concentration and feature enhancements for analysis and data visualization
Insights & Analysis
Conduct deep-dive analysis into the performance of all marketing channels, bringing recommendations to marketing teams for optimization, improvement, and testing
Analyze data sets from site and from marketing campaigns to bring greater insight into paid advertising campaigns
Look for and identify customer behavior shifts and trends, both through independent analysis and working closely with product, marketing, and business intelligence teams
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or similar field. Or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
3+ years of previous relevant experience in a digital marketing analytics role at a digitally-driven company working in an e-commerce environment
Good knowledge of digital advertising landscape, including Paid Search (AdWords & Bing), Display (Google Display Network, AdRoll, other third-party publishers), Affiliate, Social (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn), and Email/CRM
Well-versed in data-driven marketing and predictive analytics/modeling
Strong quantitative skills, including financial forecasting
Excellent in Excel and Google spreadsheets for data analysis;
Highly analytical thinker, with strong skills in extracting insight from data;
Strong attention to detail, flexible and adaptable style, a curious mind that loves numbers;
Able to cope with and adapt to changing business environment
Ability to work in the English language, both spoken and written
Preferred (not required) Skills
SQL queries writing
Visualization software experience (Tableau, QlickView, PowerBI)
Previous experience directly managing and optimizing paid digital advertising campaigns
Experience working with competitive analysis and SEO tools such as SEMRush and Google Search Console
Previously worked in a digital or technology company
