Financial controller

Makeup Group is a multinational group of companies, leader in its segment and a fast-growing business. We operate in EU, CIS and other markets. Our holding company is looking for a proactive and skilled professional to support our growth in the Financial Controller role.

The Financial Controller will oversee all aspects of the company's financial systems and procedures including month-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, supporting CFO with reporting of companies, budgeting and financial control.  

Responsibilities:

• Participation in Group’s monthly reporting and budgeting processes, preparation of analytical reports and presentation of them to the management;
• Variance analysis (actual vs budgeted KPIs), analysis of profitability, incomes and expenses, liquidity and monitoring of working capital turnover;
• Cost analysis and finding ways to minimize expenses;
• Regular control of outgoing payments;
• Improvement control system, identification of risks and ways to reduce them;
• Preparation of reports and execution of other tasks upon management request.

Successful candidate will:

• Have experience in finance for at least 2 years;
• Have background in economic modeling and forecasting / budgeting / reporting;
• Possess knowledge of accounting standards (UAS and / or IFRS) and consolidation principles, as well as experience in preparation of management reports;
• Be an advanced user of MsOffice (MsExcel, MsPowerpoint), knowledge of MsPower BI will be an advantage;
• Proficient in English at the Upper-Intermediate level, including knowledge of the "financial" English terminology;
• Have knowledge of tax legislation, accounting and tax accounting rules;
• Work experience in an international audit company (2+ years) will be an advantage;
• Ability to work with large data arrays (Excel);
• Ability to build effective communication within the Company with a matrix structure;
• Having an ACCA certificate or training to obtain it will be an advantage.
