Legal Specialist (Middle)

Education: Master’s degree in Law/International Law

Working experience:

2 + years of working experience in either a law firm or in-house in IT company; professional experience in IT, FinTech spheres, Corporate and International Contract Law, Intellectual Property Law will be a plus. 

Languages:

1. Ukrainian/Russian – native

2. English – fluent C1 or B2 level

Skills and requirements: 

• Deep knowledge in drafting and architecture of Software Development, License, Services Agreements.

• Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

• Highly motivated, responsible, productive, and persistent.

• Organized with the ability to plan work within established deadlines.

• Ability to work fast and independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong analytical and research skills, ability to process large amounts of information, and summarize findings.

• Proactive, with a business-focused approach.

• Attention to detail, accuracy, and care in the final product.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• draft, review, and revise different types of contracts (Software Development, SaaS, License, Services Agreements) and other legal documents;

• prepare answers to the clients’ amendments/comments to the clients’ agreements, drafting agreements based on accepted amendments;

• draft and review terms of use/website policies/public offers;

• review and draft official letters/official complaints/pre-court claims;

• legal analyses and review of various kinds of agreements for day-to-day company operations;

• review and draft legal opinions on related cases;

• conduct research on legal issues relevant to the company's operations, and provide analysis and recommendations;

• provide general day-to-day administrative, research, legal support to activities of the legal team, and contribute to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the legal team;

• report to the Legal Team Lead of the Clients’ Stream;

• perform other assignments and tasks from the Legal Team Lead of the Clients’ Stream.
