Engineering Manager

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our team in Odessa, Ukraine. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to lead and inspire a team of talented engineers while contributing to the innovative and collaborative culture of our organization.

Your responsibilities: 

• Heading up various Civil infrastructure project improvements and new construction builds including Buildings and Engineering facilities. 
• Ensure maintenance activities of the fleet are carried out in a timely, efficient, and safe manner in line with the company’s safety procedures.
• Lead and develop a team of engineers and contractors to maintain electrical/mechanical equipment, facilities, and civil maintenance safely and efficiently to the highest standards.
• Assist in the identification and implementation of measures to improve the availability and reliability of all terminal equipment.
• Manage the development and implementation of a new EAMS system for recording, planning and real-time organizing of all engineering works at the terminal. 
• Ensure that a safe and healthy work environment exists, by adhering to company health, safety and environmental policies, and to achieve full compliance with relevant legislation.
• Responsible for full OPEX and CAPEX expenditure in line with budgeted requirements.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in civil engineering or any relevant field, IOSH holder.
• Strong background in Civil Engineering and experience with managing a team of electrical and mechanical engineers.
• Proven track record in civil engineering project management and knowledge of EMAS, preferably Maximo
• Experience in technical projects associated with port equipment and infrastructure. 
• Fluent English and Ukrainian language skills, any additional language is a bonus.
• Budget planning experience is an essential.
• Excellent people management and motivation skills
• Demonstrate a strong ability to collaborate within a team and exhibit a goal-oriented mindset.
