Team Lead Python developer

We invite an experienced Team Lead Python Developer who is open to new opportunities and solutions. The ideal candidate should be hands-on as well as a Software Leader with proven leadership and team building skills. You can be an integral part in a growing and profitable software company.

About:

Our client enables insurers, brokers and agents to cyber profile and benchmark the cyber insurance risk of small-medium businesses worldwide, and to estimate the financial impact of potential cyber incidents on their business using our unique technology.

Technologies: Python, Django, PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, MongoDB, AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Leading and mentoring other team members (3+ members);
• Ship code and plan features from start to finish with other members of the product team (product manager, developers, designers, and you) in an agile approach;
• Writing clean, well designed and scalable code;
• Maintain a growing infrastructure in AWS, help architect core solutions, and improve internal dev efficiencies with tooling and automation;
• Collaboration with cross-functional team on design and implementation of features;
• Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture;
• Minimal meeting time and max development/productive work time, in a flexible environment.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of successful Leading position (3+ members);
• 5+ years of Python Development;
• Strong experience with Django;
• Experience with DB (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL);
• Knowledge of commonly used data structures, design patterns, and algorithms;
• English level - Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Would be a plus:

• Experience with cloud-based development (AWS).
