UI Developer

We are seeking a UI developer who has a successful and proven history of analysis, design and implementation in a business-critical environment. If you want to be challenged in a fast, agile environment with other A-Players we'd love to hear from you!

About:

Our customer is one of the biggest web development companies in Israel. You will be part of the medical devices apps, payment and transportation mobile apps team. The primary area of focus will be the development of the web presentation layer using some of the latest technologies for design, coding and testing of medium to large application components. UI Developer is expected to work closely with Technical Leads, Architects, other Software and Quality Engineers in a highly collaborative environment.

Technologies: JavaScript, React.js, HTML, CSS, PHP.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and unit test front-end application code;

• Participate in the full Agile Process, including iterative development, estimations and design sessions;

• Deliver project assignments on time and with high quality;

• Collaborate with Architects and other Software Engineering resources in designing and implementing integrated, enterprise solutions;

• Work with the Technical Lead to create and own system design documentation following standard templates;

• Work with distributed teams in Ukraine and Israel.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience with JavaScript (ES5 & ES6), HTML / CSS,  jQuery, Ajax;

• 1+ years experience with React.js;

• Familiarity with backend technologies such as PHP or Java;

• Experience with versioning tool like Git, build tools like NPM & WebPack;

• Experience with templating paradigms such as Mustache, Handlebars;

• Solid knowledge of JavaScript Unit Testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Mocha;

• Experience with CSS preprocessing frameworks such as SASS/SCSS or LESS;

• English - Intermediate level or higher.

Would be a plus:

• Experience with modern JS libraries & frameworks such as Vue.js, Node.js, Express.js;

• Experience working on highly performant UX and mobile-enabled web;

• Understanding of accessibility concerns and SEO fundamentals;

• Web experience in retail or other high-volume customer facing web applications.
