Student/trainee Java Developer

DevCom is looking for a Student/trainee Java Developer to work in Lviv office!

The benefits our student program :
- Personal mentor for each student.

- Student program for a period of three months. In this period, the stipend will be paid ($200 per month).

About project:
Country - the USA
Business field - E-commerce
The idea of the project - is an online store - a marketplace for selling air guns, sports and tourist goods. It should be developed as a Marketplace and refactored to new technologies and architectural solutions.
The overall team consists of 2 React developers, 2 Java developers, 3 QA, 1 Perl developer, 2 DevOps engineers (Senior and Middle), 1 Project Manager
Technologies used in the project: Database engine - MySQL , Server side programming language - Java 8, Web server - Tomcat 8Application Framework - Apache Tapestry, Spring Framework, Web Frameworks - Tapestry 5.4, React/React Next, RESTful Web Service - Spring, HTML 5 / CSS 3, Maven, AWS

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of OOP
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Basic knowledge of Java
• Basic knowledge of WEB development (Servlets/Spring or alternatives)
• English - Upper-Intermediate English (written and spoken)
• Last year student or young specialist
• A technical degree is obligatory
• A strong desire to improve oneself and learn
• Good soft- and communication skills to work as a team-player
• Excellent attention to detail

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of Spring Boot / Spring MVC
• Basic knowledge of JS/HTML/CSS
• Ability to write unit tests
• E-commerce Domain Knowledge will be a plus
