DESCRIPTION

Our customer provides property information, analytics, and data-enabled services in North America, Western Europe, and the Asia Pacific. The company provides its services to mortgage lenders, brokers, credit unions, commercial banks, investment banks, fixed-income investors, real estate agents, MLS companies, property and casualty insurance companies, government agencies, and government-sponsored enterprises. 

The project is primarily aimed for modernization of existing insurance product - migration from .Net framework to .Net core and front-end modernization to latest Angular and additional features work. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and write high quality code that adheres to the documented software quality standards
• Maintain and manage existing source bases
• Develop user interfaces and client displays
• Initiate and handle technical designs and complex application features
• Build flexible data models and seamless integration points
• Tune design for maintainability, scalability and efficiency
• Resolve and troubleshoot problems and issues
• Perform unit tests and fix bugs

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong C# or C++ coding skills
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Hands-on experience of Angular considered an asset
• Proficiency in MFC and STL considered an asset
• In-depth knowledge of Android and/or iOS native development considered an asset
• Passion for problem solving and troubleshooting code
• Strong analytical skills
• Self-motivated to drive issues to completion
• Great interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work well independently and in a team
• Good knowledge of French
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English level, both spoken and written (B2+)

NICE TO HAVE

• Industry experience building enterprise applications with C#, ASP.NET, NodeJS and/or Angular
• Knowledge of SQL and databases
• Proficiency in building smartphone applications, as well as large scale enterprise software products (preferably SaaS)
