Lead .Net Software Engineer with Cloud

DESCRIPTION

Our customer provides property information, analytics, and data-enabled services in North America, Western Europe, and the Asia Pacific. The company provides its services to mortgage lenders, brokers, credit unions, commercial banks, investment banks, fixed-income investors, real estate agents, MLS companies, property and casualty insurance companies, government agencies, and government-sponsored enterprises.

The company is opening new projects to re-platform legacy applications on a Pivotal Cloud Foundry platform). The teams will work in a highly Agile environment, following XP practices, 12-factors app guidelines, best CI/CD practices, etc. On this role, you will be a core contributor to the development of new products and maintenance of existing products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Embed into existing product teams and collaborate with them to devise and implement cloud migration strategy
• Deep dives into product nature and codebase to recommend best approach for cloud migration
• Coaching specialists without experience engineering for cloud
• Design, code, test, debug, and document those programs
• Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written, designed, coded, tested and debugged
• Consult with users and develop business relationships and integrate activities with other IT departments (including DevOps) to ensure successful implementation

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years of experience in software design, development, and testing
• Strong .NET development skills
• Proficiency in C# programming language
• Broad experience with Cloud platforms
• Extensive experience in one of the major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience of past projects with cloud migration nature will be a plus
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform would be a plus
• Experience performing lift & shift cloud migrations would be a great plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead and influence though personal technical expertise
• Dedication to keeping abreast of emerging technology trends
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English level, both verbal and written (B2+)
