Lead JavaScript Software Engineer (Angular)

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Our client is a multinational mass media and information company with operational headquarters in London, UK. It enables professionals in the financial and risk, legal, tax and accounting, and media markets to make the decisions that matter most, all powered by the world's most trusted news organization.

The project's key role is aimed to carry Legal Technology Research Solutions portfolio.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience in JavaScript software engineering
• Solid programming experience in Angular 2+, TypeScript
• Experience in performance optimization and caching
• Experience in working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Experience in UX / collaboration with UX designers would be a plus
• Experience in working with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) would be a plus
• Experience in CI infrastructure/optimization would be a plus
• Creativity and ability to create new solutions
• Experience in research, self-selection of tasks
• Ability to approach sensitive upgrades, understand the options / workarounds, fundamental configurations, etc.
• Good problem-solving skills, high level of responsibility
• Ability to take ownership and leadership, ability to work independently
• Ability to work in a multi-international culture; to attend meetings in a different time zone
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills
• Upper-intermediate or higher level of English, both written and spoken (B2+)
