Responsibilities:

• Participate in feasibility studies and sub-block/chip-level architecture definition
  
• Design of new analog circuits meeting performance and area
• Support DFT strategy and implementation
• Work closely with back-end designers to correctly implement AMS designs to layout
• Simulation, verification and lab evaluation of AMS circuits
• Support production test and HW/SW development for evaluation, characterization and testing
• Tape out database and document preparation
• Participate in IC design reviews
• Attendance at and participation in all relevant project meetings, keeping project manager aware of achievements, issues and potential risks to timescales
• Coach and mentor less experienced engineers
• Demonstrates an ability to learn new tools and procedures
• Attend training courses or conferences as directed by Dialog
• Build up your knowledge and improve your skills using your own research to supplement Dialog's on-the-job training

Requirements:

• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
  
• Preferably the first experience in the design of analog/digital circuits (2-6 years for middle/senior designers)
• Fundamentals of transistor-level integrated circuits and semiconductor physics
• Knowledge of circuit modeling and SPICE simulation, EDA software and Unix
• Understanding of IC design workflow
• Ability to prioritize work, set goals and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated and take full responsibility for solutions
• Good written, communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel
• Pre-intermediate English level

Will be a plus:

• Familiarity with Cadence Virtuoso (ADE, Spectre, Layout Suite), Calibre
• Experience with IC technologies
• Design experience with analog/digital blocks (Ex: Comparators, Amplifiers, Bandgap reference, LDO regulators, ADC, DAC, OSC core, Buck/Boost converters, Filters, PLL, etc)
• Programming/scripting (Verilog-A/AMS, Skill, OCEAN, Python, Bash)
• Detailed layout judgment and supervision capabilities
