We are looking for a creative Digital Designer to work in our Kyiv office with extensive brand and communication skills, and hands-on knowledge about responsive web and emerging technologies. As a Digital Designer at 3Shape you will be a part of the Digital Marketing Team, working at the crossroads of business, technology and design, with the mission to communicate great user experience. As we are to re-think our UI on our digital platforms (b2c and b2b), you will be given the best opportunities to leave your clear mark on where we are going design-wise.

The job holds a great variety of projects, being a mix of improving existing solutions as well as designing new ones - always with the mind-set of thinking 'engaging user experience' into the projects. Furthermore, we have just developed a new Corporate Visual Identity (CVI), which we are now in the process of implementing digitally. You will play a key role in driving this implementation, which will also include defining front-end design guidelines and standards for future implementation.

Responsibilities 

As our new Digital Designer, you will play a key role in transforming new business concepts and services into meaningful brand experiences, and help drive efforts to design a best-in-class user experience across all our digital platforms that engage and delight our users. 

Your responsibilities include specifying, executing, and communicating UI concepts, but what really matters is your love for pixel perfect UIs, and you value simplicity, usability, and impact over the latest trends and fancy gimmicks.

It should go without saying that you know how to design for web, mobile, and native apps. But the most important asset in your arsenal is your mindset; you are a self-driven spirit, who is always curious and yet still has the ability to execute quickly when it matters. You are always curious and eager to learn. And you understand how to communicate your design solutions to your peers - not only those within the design team, but anyone in 3Shape.

On a more practically level, you will be responsible for: 

• Creating aesthetic content for our digital platforms e.g.: webpages, attractive banners, icons, infographics, gifs etc.
• Making image adaptation for web optimization
• Designing landing pages and marketing campaign pages according to the CVI
• Supporting and improving our current graphic issues linked with corporate site
• Closely cooperating with content editors and developers to ensure the best possible implementation of your designs

Your experience and background:

• A degree from a design school or university (or similar educational background)
• 3+ years of experience in digital projects, working in a creative agency or in a design/product department
• Proven record of designs for web and/or app.
• An expert user in Adobe package (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Experience with responsive design principles (mobile first principle)
• Strong sense of web design and in accordance with the user experience
• Clear understanding of how to connect the big picture strategy and the smallest detail
• Highly skilled communicator in English (both verbally and in writing)

Will be a plus: 

• Interest in understanding users and their behavior to drive the front-end design
• Basic understanding of HTML5 / CSS3 / Bootstrap
• Experience with working in Sitecore
• Used to working with remote teams and travel
