Compliance Department Assistant (Junior Lawyer)

Key Requirements:

• University degree in law
• At least 1-year experience in jurisprudence
• Strong analytical thinking and legal research skills
• High standard of business documentation and drafting skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English (intermediate level and higher)
• Computer proficiency (MS Office Standard)

Good to have:

• Knowledge of regulatory legal environment and governmental structure
• Knowledge/experience in contractual and/or commercial legal sphere

Job Responsibilities:

• Verification and analysis of written position papers on their compliance with current legislation and internal requirements of the organization under the supervision of an Associate
• Reviewing and drafting different types of contracts under the supervision of an Associate
• Maintenance of different databases related to compliance issues
• Assistance in preparing and regularly updating internal procedures, policies and guidelines
• Assistance in preparing legal opinions, advices and reports on different legal issues for internal and external usage
