ABOUT THE COMPANY

Whimsy Games is an outsourcing game development company known for creating innovative and entertaining games for various platforms. With a focus on creativity, Whimsy Games constantly explores new ideas and pushes game development’s boundaries. In the next few years, we are aiming to create bestsellers and become a respectable partner for global GameDev companies.

Now we are looking for a talented 2D Artist for a project full-time cooperation (for 1-2 months or more).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate and post-processing characters in Stable diffusion. 

• Optimize 2D art assets for performance, and technical preparation of art. 

• Successfully estimate and complete assigned tasks within project timelines, coordinating with Leads, Project Managers, and Art Director.

•  Participate in various team activities, such as brainstorming sessions and creative discussions, to contribute to the artistic vision. 

• Communicate effectively with other departments.

• Manage personal time and workload allocation to complete assigned tasks efficiently and meet project milestones.  

• Follow established workflow requirements, art pipelines, and best practices to maintain efficient art production processes.

COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE

• 6+ months of relevant experience working with Stable diffusion and AI technology.

• 2+ years of relevant experience in the art post-polishing/ game industry/Illustrations.

• Solid understanding of color theory, composition, and the fundamentals of perspective. 

• Proficient in stylization techniques to bring unique visual elements. 

• Adept at freehand drawing, adding a personal touch to artistic creations.

• Possesses advanced skills in Photoshop, ensuring high-quality visual outputs.

• Strong estimating skills for effective project planning.

WILL BE A PLUS

• Knowledge of Figma
• Base 3D Knowledge
