Junior Data Analyst

Ajax Systems is a developer and manufacturer of Ajax wireless and wired security systems with smart home capabilities. There are more than 135 devices in the Ajax line: they protect the premises from robbery, fire, flooding and provide an opportunity to control electrical appliances. Key responsibilities

• Handle large datasets in BigQuery to clean, prepare, and analyse data
• Leverage Python for data preparation and construction of simple data pipelines
• Construct SQL queries for data extraction
• Ensure the highest standards of data integrity and accuracy
• Drill into data anomalies to understand and communicate the root cause of issues
• Conduct data validation and error-checking processes to guarantee the data reliability and accuracy

Hard skills

• 1+ years of experience in data analytics
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, economics, statistics, or a related field
• Experience with developing ETL pipelines and ingesting data via REST API using Python
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (for data wrangling and preparation)
• Experience with GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Scheduler, Compute Engine)
• Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tool
• Consumer mobile/desktop applications experience is a plus
• Knowledge of marketing analytics is a plus
• English – upper intermediate
