What do you need?

• 3+ experience in application support & deployment 
• 3+ experience in programming languages is welcome (e.g. C/C++, Cobol, Perl)
• excellent data modeling and SQL knowledge
• experience with Jira, HP Service desk/analogue, Git 
• good knowledge of Operating Systems (e.g. Unix, Windows) and Database technology (e.g. Oracle) - PL/SQL, Oracle, MySQL 

What to do?

• administer and configure applications on production
• document/record all configuration items (CIs), including versions, baselines, constituent components, their attributes and relationships 
• generate improvement suggestions out of configuration, asset & license management findings 
• support of application life cycle and continuous improvement of applications 
• provide 2nd  level support for applications
• initiate changes based on incidents and problems (bug-fixing)
• active participation in planning and preparation of deployment (e.g. big bang vs. phased go-live)
