Supply Chain Analyst for HIV Rapid Test Kits
The international non-profit organization Management Sciences for Health (MSH) implementing in Ukraine the USAID-supported Safe, Affordable and Effective Medicines for Ukrainians Activity (SAFEMed), is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst for HIV Rapid Test Kits
The primary objective of the Supply Chain Analyst for HIV Rapid Test Kits atNGOs consultant's role is to analyze the entire supply chain process,including demand planning, supplying, warehousing, transportation,utilization, write-off, and disposing of HIV Rapid Test Kits through NGOs.
The main duties of the consultant:
- Methodology for determining the selected sample for testing according to the specified quantity.
- Preparation of a checklist that will take into account all criteria affecting the quality of supplying, transportation, storage, utilization,and disposal of rapid HIV tests through NGOs.
- Conducting monitoring visits to storage facilities where HIV RapidTest Kits are stored and testing sites to assess the storage and use of tests, and their compliance with national laws and international standards.
- Providing a final analytical note based on the results of all monitoring visits, which includes: Detailed description and analysis of identified problems/risks.
- The consultant should provide a detailed description of the context and potential root causes of the identified problems, including any underlying conditions (if necessary), and prioritize the list of problems in the summary according to their importance and criticality.
- Recommendations for addressing the identified problems.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's or Master`s degree in Public Health, Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Management, Medical Management or equivalent education.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in public health programs or related to public health system reform. Experience in public health management with an emphasis on supply chain in public health or/and in medical procurements.
- Experience working in Ukraine with NGO`s, CPH and similar level organizations in the field of healthcare.
- Experience in assessing medical facilities.?Knowledge of international quality standards in the medical field.
- Familiarity with WHO standards and procedures for the storage and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
