Corporate English Teacher

Requirements:

Must have:

• Fluent English (C1-С2) 

• 2 year+ experience of teaching adults

• Thorough understanding of grammar, punctuation, tone, and word-choice

• Ability to address English errors on-the-spot without consulting resources

• Ability to create original lesson plans, homework tasks, and tests

• Ability to work independently with little supervision

• Ability to work as a part of a team, sharing ideas and lending support to colleagues if required

• Openness to a variety of pedagogical approaches

• Excellent presentation and communication skills

• Positive and creative

• Bright and flexible

Nice to have:

• International certificates make a big advantage (CELTA, CAE/CPE, IELTS, TOEFL, DELTA)

• Previous working experience with IT companies

Responsibilities:

• Teach scheduled lessons: in-person and/or remotely, group and/or one-on-one

• Pre-plan and teach lessons—in-class activities, homework, and tests

• Track student progress and attendance

• Use tech tools in your teaching, especially including Google Docs/Google Meet

• Provide feedback on homework and other assignments

• Administer, grade, and record regular unit tests

• Answer questions and provide proofreading help to colleagues as requested

• Submit a brief report of your activities (monthly)
