Delivery Director

Levi9 is looking for a leader to head one of our Kyiv delivery units. Such a unit normally consists of 6 accounts, 80 employees, a few delivery managers and technology departments. You'll receive command of your own ship in the Levi9 flotilla. This means you have a strong sense of ownership and are comfortable with operating autonomously, while being in sync with other Levi9 units and sharing company values.

Your primary responsibility is successful delivery on your accounts. You will do this through your people, so you must be a team-player, recruiter, mentor, coach and instructor. Your goal is customer satisfaction and you achieve it by making your people the best professionals they can be.

You are a strong believer in engineering practices, staying on top of developments in the industry and applying them in your projects. You are not a bureaucrat and normally like to be as agile as possible. Yet, you understand the importance of systems and procedures and can create your own, where needed. You are eager to experiment and try new things, but have enough self-control to know when to stop.

Requirements:

You will enjoy this role if you:

• Are able to lead several accounts with little supervision.
• Care about customer's needs and balance them well with the needs of the team.
• Able to identify technical and staff obstacles and act on them.
• Interested in technology and inspire "developers" to become "engineers".
• Never stop learning.

You will be successful in this role if you:

• Technical background (as a Software engineer, QA engineer, Devops engineer etc.) is a must;
• Know exactly how satisfied your customers are and have a plan to improve satisfaction further.
• Mentor and coach your best people and look for new talent to become technical and managerial leaders.
• Take specific actions to improve the engineering culture in the organization.
• Agree and monitor SMART personal development plans for your people.
• Independently drive pre-sale activities.
