Associate, Real Estate Practice

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Associate to join our Real Estate Practice.

Job duties:

• Preparing legal memoranda, legal opinions and otherwise advising clients on a wide range of matters: a deal of client liaison, lots of research and some writing of briefs and letters. Representing landlords, tenants, developers and contractors. Assisting clients with all types of real-estate-related relations including lease and contract conditions and land-use conditions, investments issues, all types of real estate transactions.
• Advising on land purchase and sale, allocation of a separate part of the land, development of a project for land allotment, technical documentation, all stages of construction and commissioning of residential and commercial buildings. Including, but not limited to, connection of buildings to distribution systems (electricity, gas, water, etc.), environmental issues related to pollution prevention, waste minimization.
• Conducting support of DD land plots during sale or purchase, support of land plots allocation, DD during purchase and sale of buildings of commercial and residential real estate, DD objects of unfinished construction, support of change of target purpose of land plots, support of investment projects, accompanying schemes with participation of joint investment institutions, supporting the process of construction of commercial and residential real estate.

Key requirements:

• 5 years of work experience in a law firm with strong knowledge of land law, economic law, investment legislation, construction legislation, technical expertise, capitalization of the company
• Ability to draft clear and concise correspondence, legal memoranda, transactional documents in English, Ukrainian, Russian
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Strong analytical, legal writing, and research skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and proactive approach to work, initiative
• Willingness to build a career on a longstanding basis
• Ability and willingness to study
