Unity developer

About the role and responsibilities:

We are looking for curious, driven and challenge-loving Unity Developers with the passion for making both games and / or innovative apps. As part of the Nomoko Studio, you would be developing both game and non-game apps fueled by the Nomoko 3D Mirror World models - extremely accurate, segmented 3D models of entire cities.

You would be working closely with our team in Zurich and would be encouraged to come up with new game concepts but also help to build applications that tackle tangible, real world challenges. Our target audiences span across a variety of industries - from self-driving cars to urban planners, architects and cities. The Nomoko Studio is platform and interface agnostic - we look for someone with a passion for AR / VR / MR, but also for mobile / web application development. Part of your job would be to prototype and push the boundaries of what is possible. The mission of the Nomoko Studio is to allow developers to unleash their creativity - this way, your role would also be to inspire through your creations the overall developer community outside of the Nomoko Studio's doors.

Required skills, knowledge and experience:

Required

• C # (Unity) - preferred
• Photo editing skills - Adobe Photoshop (or other)
• Experience modifying / creating shaders
• Experience with detailed lighting and baked light mapping
• Experience with Unity Editor scripting
• Experience with Unity Web Services, HLAPI, LLAPI, Transport Layer API
• Ability to design for desktop, mobile, and web
• Experience building reusable code and libraries for future use, utilizing best practices
• Ability to collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Understanding of real-time graphics

Big plus

• knowledge of 3d formats, and 3d workflow
• AR / VR / MR (HoloLens, Magic Leap, Oculus)
• ARKit / ARCore

Recommended:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Experience with NGUI, in-app purchasing, analytics
• Multi-platform development experience (iOS, Android, WebGL)
• Published portfolio of games / apps
