Data Lead

We are looking for a Data Lead to join our team. As a part of this role, you will be responsible for leading and expanding a team of data analysis and engineering, implementing and optimizing existing technology solutions for the data collection, processing, and reporting system, as well as the designing and implementing new solutions that will be necessary for business needs. 

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience (Data / DBA / Development etc);
• 2+ years of Data Analyst / Data Engineer / Data Scientist experience;
• 2+ years of team leading/project management experience;
• Programming skills in Python / R / Scala;
• Experience with message queues and streaming platforms;
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases;
• Knowledge of SQL;
• Experience in a building data warehouse;
• Knowledge of principles of building distributed data storages.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with Machine Learning;
• Experience with Apache Spark.

Responsibilities:

• Consult and collaborate with team members: motivation, onboarding, development, management of the team;
• Providing technical leadership for the customer, communication with stakeholders;
• Design and development of data platform (data lake);
• Developing batch & stream data processing solutions, ETL processes, automated workflows;
• Taking part in testing data pipelines and data quality;
• Implementing industry’s best practices for collecting, transforming, and accessing data;
• Delivering data science and data engineering projects from idea to completion.
