Middle Test Engineer (Automotive solution)

We are developing a Europe-wide digital platform that identifies the requirements of future mobility providers and connects them digitally and effectively with the relevant service providers. Product vision is to be the central point of contact in the new mobility world for all kinds of service concerns and thus make a contribution to the mobility revolution.

The team consists of a Team Lead, Developers team, and Test Engineers. The startup has been developing for about a year and a half and it will continue, as the project is in an active development phase and there are a lot of plans for the future.

The main technologies in the project are React, Redux-Saga, Typescript, Node.js, NestJS (Nest), PostgreSQL, Azure, Docker, GraphQL.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the product team to understand functional requirements and overall user experience
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan testing activities
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Analyze test results to ensure correct functionality, determine root causes of failures, and recommend corrective action
• Perform thorough regression testing when needed
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Close communication with the team and the Team Leader
• Cooperation with the product and business stakeholders

Requirements:

• At least 3+ years of experience in quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software testing fundamentals
• Experience working with requirements, participation in the requirements clarification process
• Experience with full life cycle testing
• Proven ability to design tests providing full requirements coverage
• Experience in test documentation creation: bug reports, test cases, check-lists, etc.
• Solid technical background, experience in API testing, SQL, Chrome Dev Tools.
• At least basic knowledge of estimation techniques, hands-on experience estimating tasks of various complexity
• Perfect verbal communication skills, proven ability to describe complex matters in an easy way
• Good written communication, experience composing complex emails, creating various documentation, including user-related
• At least Intermediate level of English
