Project description:

To tell you, even more, the customer is extremely open to new ideas and always takes the opinion of our experts into account. So you will have a lot of space for ideas, initiative, and independence.

Responsibilities:

• Design separate components, modules, classes, database tables, etc.
• Perform coding and debugging
• Investigate current and new solutions
• Participate in peer code and design reviews
• Participate in estimation and planning sessions
• Report status and progress according to the project and company demands
• Explore front-end and back-end parts of the web application to be able to solve business problems and take responsibility for the result
• Be ready to scale services and find bottlenecks
• Solve puzzles and work by yourself without micromanagement and direct control

Requirements:

• 3 years of commercial experience
• High proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails
• Experience with relational database (PostgreSQL)
• Good knowledge of TDD with RSpec
• Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery)
• Basic knowledge of Node.js
• Intermediate level of English or higher

Would be a plus:

• Experience with NoSQL databases (Redis)
• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Familiar with EC2, S3
• Knowledge of Load Balancer
• Familiar with RDS
• Familiar with ElasticCache
• Familiar with Route 53
