Test Automation Engineer (Source Code Scan Platform)

We welcome a Test Automation Engineer to join development of a unique cloud-based web application to perform static code analysis.

Your main goal as a Test Automation Engineer will be test automation for UI testing, integration, performance.

Project

The main goal of the project is to develop a unique cloud-based web application to perform static code analysis. Not only development but also DevOps and security teams will use this platform.

What users can do with it - scan source code, check vulnerability, and fix detected vulnerability issues early on the development stage. The best thing is that the application will work for over 25 coding and scripting languages

Responsibilities:

• Test automation for UI testing, integration, performance
• Requirements analysis and clarification
• Building and maintaining of test environments and instrumentation required for tests implementation and execution
• Assistance in development and development of test documentation: cases, plans, procedures, etc. and test automation documentation: guides, auto generated documentation, etc.
• Collecting, analysis, and documenting the test results
• Reporting of issues to tracking systems
• Close collaboration with project team

What we expect:

• Strong understanding of TA goals, areas of applicability, activities, deliverables
• Commercial experience in test automation on Java and/or JavaScript
• Good to Strong understanding of OOP paradigm and its projection to code
• Understanding of most common code design patterns and paradigms, ability to clearly recognize them in own code
• Experience in using mainstream libraries/tools for at least 2 of specified TA areas: Web API, Web UI, Desktop UI, TA results reporting
• Experience working in Agile environment
• Good understanding of estimation techniques
• Experience in requirements analysis and coverage tracking
• Good technical English - at least Intermediate level

• Experience with AWS
