On behalf of our Israeli client, we are looking for a Middle Front-End developer to become a part of our startup team, that delivers a digital platform for immigrant communities.
Customer:
We are collaborating with an Israeli 2-year-old startup with experienced tech managers and an impressive client base (more than 400,000 immigrants use it in the US now). The idea is to provide support to specific ethnic groups all over the globe. Thanks to the platform, you can find connections, get assistance with insurance, job finding, or dozens of other questions.
Project:
Our team consists of highly experienced Front-End developers, who are focused on the building of the product's Web-platform, getting the ownership of it, and dealing with the "business-needs" challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Code, debug, document, and maintain features
- Perform unit and integration testing
- Contribute to development of technical project documentation and user documentation
- Participate in conference calls and face-to-face meetings with the Customer
- Comply with the best engineering practices, the technical standards and the quality criteria set forth on the project
- Report status and progress according to the project and Company demands
- Escalate technical issues to the Architect, Team Lead and Project Manager
- Improve your qualification within the area(s) of expertise at various training courses, seminars and/or other educational organizations
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer
- Experienced in JavaScript/TypeScript stack: React.js, React Native, Node.js with TS, MongoDB
- Competent in Git flow
- Strong knowledge of Unit Testing
- Should be ready to learn new libraries and frameworks quickly
- Should be ready to communicate with technical and non-technical customers
- Excellent communication skills and a good team player
- At least Intermediate English level
