Middle JavaScript WebGL/Three.js Developer (Visual platform)

You will work on an efficient visual platform, which dramatically improves the experience of browsing the web on any device without any plugins or responsive design. The project is on the active development phase and the main technology stack is based on the WebGL/Three.js technology on the frontend and Ruby on the backend.

Customer:

Our customer is a startup from the UK, which is extremely open to the professional opinion of the team, so you will have a chance to initiate changes, choose technologies and approaches.

Project:

We are developing a cutting-edge visual platform directed to help others enhance their web experience and make the process of web browsing smooth on any device.

Responsibilities:

• Think on and propose solutions for non-standard problems
• Design separate components, modules, classes, etc.
• Perform coding, debugging, and unit testing
• Investigate current and new solutions
• Participate in peer code and design reviews
• Participate in estimation and planning sessions
• Report status and progress according to the project and company demands
• Understand the front-end part of the web-application to be able to solve business problems and take responsibility for the result
• Solve puzzles and work by yourself without micromanagement and direct control

Requirements:

• 2+ years' experience with JavaScript (ES6), CSS3 (SASS, LESS, Stylus), HTML5
• Experience with WebGL/Three.js
• Experience with Karma, Jest
• Experience with Webpack
• Familiar with REST API
• At least Intermediate English level

Would be a plus:

• Experience and understanding of one of the frameworks React.js/Angular 8/Vue.js and its core principles
• Node.js or Ruby knowledge
