Lead Data Analyst

SSA Group is looking for Lead Data Analyst to work on a permanent basis.    

Project: High-Loaded OLTP/DW system. B2B system, which is intended for use by analysts, marketing management staff in sales corporations. Companies, which use the system could increase the market share of their brands and get benefits.  

Position: We are looking for a Lead Data Analyst to join our growing team. The role will require improve/automate/setting up Data Analytics processes. Everything starts from simply data aggregation, goes to creating data-driven picture of market analysis comparison (including ML algorithms, statistic ones, KPIs) and providing the performance results for the clients according to schedule. 

Candidate requirements:  

• 5+ years of data analysis experience    

• Sales data or Inventory analysis experience   

• Advanced experience writing SQL queries and working with large data sets   

• Experience with Power BI/Tableau/QlikView or similar 

• 1+ year of experience with R/Python 

• Familiar with ML methods (GLM/Regression, Statistics knowledge) 

• Experience in delivering analytical solutions for complex product-related tasks (user pattern research, supporting experiments, feature analysis to improve the product metrics, use-cases analysis, etc.) 

• Basic understanding of development processes and methodologies 

• English level: Upper-Intermediate+ 

• Quick learner, team player, responsible, punctual, stress-resistant, client-oriented 

Responsibilities: 

• Audit conducting and setting up Analytics process 

• End-to-end analytics building (analyze gaps in data, make data quality checks via SQL, prepare huge data sets for analysis via SQL, etc) 

• Detecting the patterns and causes of changes in different performance indicators (Generating hypotheses about new key metrics, find weak places on project and ways of improvement of different indicators) 

• Take part in design and development of ML algorithms using R, Python, etc  

• Analyze algorithms results and build statistic reports via Power BI/Tableau/QlikView, etc.  

• Suggesting ways and approaches for automatic checks/routines/procedures   

• Improve ML frameworks and tools  

• Lead the team and interact with Release Management 

• Prepare demo presentations for Clients
