Software Engineer (Embedded Middleware) (IRC161347)

GlobalLogic is inviting an experienced Software Engineer (Embedded Middleware) to join our engineering team.

Our customer is an international car manufacturer with a headquarter in Vietnam.

The Company is working on high-quality, cutting-edge, and comprehensive integrated cockpit and automotive computing platforms.

The scope of the project includes SW requirements and design preparation, implementation, integration, and maintenance phases following modern industry standards for development processes in the automotive segment (Automotive SPICE).

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in software development
• Good knowledge of C/C++ (С++11 preferably)
• Experience in C++ development on Android AOSP is a must
• Development in UNIX/POSIX or Android userspace
• Knowledge and experience in multithreading
• Experience in troubleshooting and debugging complex issues, profiling, and system performance optimization
• Experience in working with and creating the software development documentation

Nice to have:

• Experience in the development or integration of the embedded systems
• Understanding GRASP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
• Android development ( Java, native )
• Experience in GIT, Gerrit

Preferences:

• Git, Java, Yocto

Responsibilities:

• Take part in the system requirements and customer requests analysis.
• Contribute to the development and design solutions of Android applications.
• Porting customer-specific features.
• Cooperate with other teams worldwide to follow up on product development and integration with other solutions.
